In a recent New Scientist magazine;the announcement of the naming off a new bone structure found in the stegosaur.
This is a rare event as most creatures have the same bones and they have all been named,i.e. humerus, femur etc.
The new name refers to the vicious spiky structure on the tail of the stegosaur.
And the name is:
Thagomizer
The name was taken from a Gary Larson cartoon featuring a caveman lecturer pointing to the spikes on a blackboard and explaining that they were named after the late Thag Simmons
