    Name dropping

Not sure if I will be up to this one this year. I am sitting in a cyber cafe in Darjeeling NE India and NZ seems so far away. Would anyone like me to put a Royal Enfield in the pack and bring it back? Most bikes here are locally produced Jap models. One 100cc advert on TV includes on the ad that it is capable of 108 kmph. Not bad if you are weaving around busses, taxis, people all over the road!!

Back in a couple of weeks.

    Canvastown...

I was there in 93!! Went to rally site Fri night.. across to Wgtn on the early ferry Sat to attend the protest ride on Parliament against increased ACC levies... there were 3000ish bikes & about 5500 people.. all met on the waterfront, then proceeded to ride thru the main streets of Wgtn.. STOPPPING traffic from a just finished rugby game @ Athletic Park!!!!! onto park up on the steps of Parliament!! Then back on the ferry again Sat evening to get sloshed @ the rally!! An awesome experience!!! & the protest worked back then... All in all.. a great weekend!!! Am looking forward to the Nelson Rally.. attended in the bloody car last year.. my baby had a major electrical meltdown & was off the road for 10 months... !!! hope to put some faces to the KB names!!!

Talked to Woodybee/Jan tonight - she says to let the KB'rs know she's heading to the Nelson rally (away early Weds morning) and looks forward to meeting up with you and rocking the night away. She said she's also planning on meeting up with that babes on bikes trip to Akaroa on her way home.
So look out for her on the Bonnie (white with an orange/mandarin coloured bit at the front of the tank). Its her first time to the Nelson rally and the longest trip she's done on her new bike (which sounds great but I haven't actualy seen yet)
She'll be pissed if I tell you to do this but.... have a look at her rear tyre and make sure she's started leaning it over a bit!!!!
    Have a great weekend.
