So look out for her on the Bonnie (white with an orange/mandarin coloured bit at the front of the tank). Its her first time to the Nelson rally and the longest trip she's done on her new bike (which sounds great but I haven't actualy seen yet)
She'll be pissed if I tell you to do this but.... have a look at her rear tyre and make sure she's started leaning it over a bit!!!!
    Have a great weekend.
Woodybee, rolled through Rakaia this arvo round the 3pm mark, did a lap of victory through the forecourt at work had a pit-stop at the Tea-rooms next door. Had a quick chat etc, she seems pretty charged up for the rally

The Bonnie is a sweetie and the rear tyre is looking pretty good & respectable and a nicely balanced package with all the ventura luggage strapped in place.

Unfortunately after some unfortunate circumstances last week () I'm no longer going either. I don't want to go into why (take to long to type) but Far Queue and Dangerous know the reasons.

Yeah, it's a bit serious but I'm ok. I was looking forward to catching up with you - just to see what all the fuss was about . Maybe soon.

I was really looking forward to going on some rallys this summer, but the finances are a killer when you're trying to get a house. So I won't be going - in fact the bike is on notice and looks like it might be going out the door soon. Its a major bummer, but with house prices nowadays what the hell else can I do?...Rob a bank you say??? tempting but no.

    Enjoy yourselves!

Was me!. Saw her (recognised the bike more so) heading north past the shop then stop further up towards the bend before the bridge & stop (must have been deciding on whether to stop for a break or not), then come back towards the tea-rooms, did the wee lap around the forecourt then parked up.
I just wondered up & said G'day and that we'd been informed to keep an eye out & to inspect the tyre , the look on her face was worth it. Had a quick chat. then before she left, she came into the workshop to say bye.

The Bonnie is a damn fine bike, though bloody quiet

Her reply to the tyre issue was a beauty though "Oh but I don't ride fast". By the time Nelson is reached they'll be well scrubbed up.

What about the sides of the tyres - she reckoned she isn't into cornering - might need a bit of encouragement. Great work tho TWR

There was about 5mm of chicken strips either side on the rear respectable considering the style of the bike & the amount of gear on board
