Boredom

Well, it's school holidays, I haven't been well the last couple of days and it's raining, so subsequently, I don't have a lot to do. Even the oldies are complaining of boredom and have asked me to start a controversial thread.

So here you go people; I started a controversial thread: you guys build it.

Since you, as with all teenagers, think you are God, why don't you fix the f***en weather and then I can go for a ride.
Or failing that, why don't you cook dinner for your poor oldies?????

we had 3 month summer holidays when i was a kid..

we also had shitty rainy days ..

why is it that we never got bored ..?

we didnt have computers .. playstations .. porn on demand...

Truth to tell, it is me who is bored - more so than hXc. I had my heart set on a ride today, have had my rego on hold for 3 months which was up on Saturday. The weather was stunning Sat and Sun but hXc has been pretty sick and we also had people staying with us. They left this morning and we were going to 'escort' them up the Napier Taupo road... wouldn't you know it! Hughie decides to piss all over my plans.. arse, feck, arse, mutter, bleeding mutter..

Doesn't look like it is going to be any better for the next few days either

go climb a tree...walk the dog. go into town with friends....

dont understand why school kids get 12 weeks holiday each year, when they spend their days sitting. but working adults, who likely spend most of their day on their feet, only get 3...4 next year?
