Ok looking for some advice. I have VFR400 NC30 K model ie the ones with the early forks/non cartridge type. They also have a bit of pitting/rust spots (will come off with elbow grease) so was thinking of upgading to something different. I have read lots of posts from 400greybike.co.uk. There is lots of talk about USD fork installs etc. I like the idea/look of USD forks but I am not too fussed (will cost a lot more to do a USD conversion). So I am leaning towards getting hold of the later VFR forks and having them re valved/oil/springs to suit my weight/riding style. I have also read that CBR600 F2/F3 are a good option. So now that questions.

1. Where is a good place to try and source the later VFR 400 NC30 forks?
2. Where is a good place that can revalve/rebuild them for me? Or should have I go myself?
