    Advice please

Hey, a few things. I was gonna take my bike into the mechanic today but he has decided to not be home and have his phone off

    1. Gonna do oil and filter change, anyone got any advice on what to get and where from for my ZXR? I've got the manual says SE, SF or SG grade and SAE10W-40, 10W-50, 20W-40 or 20W-50 so im sure i can find one of those but if anyone has any brands that are good or bad please let me know

    2. The brakes pulse slightly, not really at speed but when im just wheeling it down the drive it does it quite a bit, slips then catches. This normal or should i do a search and try find a problem?

    3. Theres a rattle in the engine that seems to come at around 8-9k RPM in 2nd and 3rd gear and when i press the clutch in and roll along at speed. Any ideas? Cam chain maybe?

    4. The suspension is really hard, is it easy to adjust or shall i take it into a shop?

    5. When i push it around the garage it kinda sounds like its grinding a bit, its probably me just being paranoid but still. That normal?

Yea, any advice on any of that would be good or if anyone wants to come help me or have a listen to the sounds it would be good. Hopefully i can get it sorted and go on the 250cc ride tomorrow Thanks

oil change is awesome easy to do, one issue you may have is what to do with the oil afterwards.

The brakes sound like your brake discs are warped, its easy to fix but costs a few bob (you have to take it into a shop to get them machined)

you can get oil at any garage or mechcanic.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Dude, they sound like some real annoying problems, I think I'd still be taking it to a mechanic. Hope you get them sorted out.
I had a ZZR400 which I was told by the Kawasaki shop had the same engine as the ZXR400 and was a bit rattly and they found the cam chain tensioner wasn't working and so a new chain and tensioner later all was quiet.
If I had option getting someone who knows what they're doing with suspension to set it up for me I would have as it can be a complicated exceise depending on the adjustments that can be made.

Cheers, went into spectrum and cycle sport and got some oil + filter. They all think its the cam chain but said it should be fine to ride around on till i take it in in 2 weeks Brakes are probably warped but they said if its that small i don't really need to do it. Theres also something funky with my suspension, not rebounding properly so might have to get that done aswel
