    Hawkes Bay's favourite intersection

Another death at the expressway/Meeanee Rd lights. Nothing to do with motorcycles, except that one of the vehicles involved was a Pajero driven by an old fella. Hope Motu wasn't in the Bay yesterday? Dead guy was in a Suzuki van (bloody death-traps those).
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Nasty bit of road that. Always careful when going through there.

They now have it set up so that only the traffic from one side of the intersection moves at a time...the only way an accident can happen there is if someone runs a red light.

I wouldn't want to be in a Suzuki Hit by a Pajero (wasn't Me!) One place I worked had one as a shop hack....I felt safer on my bike. You wouldn't have a hope in a frontal or hit on the drivers door.

    Yep, just the vans
That appears to be the case- the pajero ran the red or so it seems. Bloody road was closed for 6 hours!!
