    CBR600rr bits wanted asap.....

PLEASE let me know if you hear of any of these bits for a cbr600rr going begging:

    - Front sub-frame (that holds on the fairings and instrument panel)
    - Front fairing
    - Left hand side fairings (incl belly bit)
    - Instrument panel
    - Front left indicator
    - Plastic on the front of headlights

Hopefully that's it and there's not many more nasty surprises...

What happened? I've got the bits, but they are attached to my bike and are not wanting to part with them.

Yeah I put a brief blurb in my other thread - I lowsided it on a left hand corner at a reasonable speed - dunno why - road looked fine, tyres were pretty stuffed but I've ridden on worse. Argh.

It's just sad cause it was so pretty But it will be again! I'm not insured either but I'm still not convinced that it would have been worth it in the long run (but that might change after I actually start coughing up the $ for it).

Quasi - I might buy some pants off you now though! The ones I was wearing aren't that flash anymore.

Just got some m1 metzellers on my CBR, what a difference. Ive only ever had super sticky yokohamas in the past, but these are so much better. Should have kept the old tyres for ya, they was not up to WOF standards, but still had some tread. Hope you get it back on the road soon, let me know if there is anything I can do to help (next week are in Hastings, if that helps).

A bike is a bike, Ive just scored a RD250LC, not as quick as the CBR600RR, but losts of fun never the less.

Bugger mate, Sounds like your ok. Good to hear. Nick's the current expert of bringing it all back to life, although you can't beat Dover for experience.

Which corner, when? Who was behind you?

Left hander about 5/10mins back from the coast - a real nice one too, I don't think it was dodgey. It's not "the" dodgey corner where everyone wipes out. VW was behind ahem... at home finishing his thesis due the next day.
