OK, we've had our fun and had a giggle at the expense of certain Umerkins who trailer their Harley-Fergusons to biker events but I think we should stop now.

At the rate we're going we're likely to get a serious handbagging...

Most of them would not physically wind backwards - you had to wind them all the way around past zero to get a lesser number.

So if the trailer wankers use the coupler and the speed/distance doubler too much they'll wind up displaying the true mileage eventually...

You have to wonder about the mentality of people who ask for things like that...and the people who then help them with it! (I guess filthy lucre is a primo reason). Wind more kms on so you can brag about how much blacklining you have (NOT) been doing... sad, sad and sad.

They must have been the kids who ripped their brand new uniforms so they could look "cool", paid others to sit their tests and hire out flash cars to impress their mates!

After all, having the bike on a trailer in the first place instead of riding it!?
Mind you, as McJim sez ... I'm addicted to riding and can only have sympathy for my poor bike as I rack up the km's Cleaning out the flies on my teeth from my inane grinning is costing me heaps in toothpaste too...

What next? Pre-scuffed leathers for that "binned" look, pre-dented fuel tanks, etc?

My bike had pre-dented petrol tank (mind you, it was second hand and showed other signs that the previous owners didn't leave it on a trailer) - and the dent just above the seat I'm really glad not to have put there!

I swear I put those scuffs on my leathers myself! That's why I still limp on cold days.

    I did get a pre-dented tank though - that's why it's got a crappy paint job.

Still trying to lose the chicken pin-stripes myself.

I'm still shellshocked from that photo of you with your kilt on...and those legs...aieee mine eyes! Come back scuffed leathers! All is forgiven! And I can see some bikers claiming the dent as being "needed due to the size of their tackle"

btw ... I hear you can always get someone to pillion you on your own bike while they scrub off the chicken-stripes for you! You're a hard man...doing it yourself!

I've still got mines! I think....I'm still not sure what chicken-stripes are! I don't think I'll get rid of that big yellow stripe down my back however!
