....DYKES ON BIKES you know Lemons,lezzies,play for the other team, dykes....dukes? yea, maybe,it was predominantly testosterone in my experience on a ride with them

I honestly had no idea what DOB meant - thanks for the enlightenment.

I ride a Duke, but I'm not gay (though from time to time I'm very merry and I enjoy a good laugh)

There used to be WIMA in the U.K. years ago.Now female riders are a lot more common(20% of Brit riders I believe but a lot of those are Scoot riders)they`re accepted in mainstream bike clubs no problem.Local group,an offshoot of Plymouth MCC that they all belong to,is called PLATS,Plymouth Ladies and Tarts and they wear their T-shirts with pride.Female riders led off the Megaride charity run last month and there were hundreds of them.

I feel I have to just add a note here though guys. Just because a gal rides a bike does not mean we bat for the other side. Ok I myself admit to not having the technical prowess I should regarding the bike and its set up but I am learning big time thanks to KBers. LMAO we are quite approachable actually and I am sure KK will attest we have a sense of humour and its ok to talk to us when we turn up for a KB ride. :confused2

How does what side a person bats for in any way affect them as a rider?
Ive ridden with some of those wima gals -Holey shit batman some of em are bloody nutters.

It doesn't. I just made a comment earlier on that
riding with the DOB's made my hair stand on end
it was a WIMA ride but predominately the turnout
was DOB's.

They were really quick & scary....every gal for themselves

Mind you, that was when I was a learner on my CBR250...don't
know if I would think the same now or not...probably would - my
riding is still the same i'm just on a bigger bike now
