And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Well the hail is now hitting Parnell... but its only small hail stones, and the storms don't last too long, by the time the hail and rain stops the hail has melted...

When I went up the rd to get lunch earlier... there was still chunks of hail floating in puddles... and that was ages after it fell too...
had melted everywhere else tho... but some 'floaties' were still frozen lol

My doors face south and the hail stones came straight in for 20 metres.southerlies are pretty rare, usually it's a souwester and goes straight down the road.Southerlies come from a place that's very cold...we only get then in that direction a couple of times a year.

It sleeted puffy white sleet up on the hill behind Thorndon, like massive heavy snow, and on the radio they say it's snowing a little in upper hutt.

Yeah lurverly - I rode home in it. I saw the dark clouds gathering and thought "shit I should get going before that comes in" And with impecable timing .... I was riding along thinking "is this f*cking snow??" Sat at the new (f*cking!!) lights at the bottom of the hill getting snow/sleet on me.... Grrr

My poor bike was outside at uni . Girlfriend very kindly offered her spare jumper to wipe the seat before I went to work. Unbelieveable! She never wants to take her clothes off any other time!
