    Smile You know you're a biker when...

    I know some of these have been posted before... but some havn't... so yeah

    ~~~**~~~
    You know your a biker when...
    ...someone asks you what you want for your b-day and you say "a pair of Pirelli's and a full exhaust"
    ....you're eyes light up and are pinned WIDE OPEN from the sound of any bike coming or going
    .... you cum from watching a burnout, wheelie, stoppie or watching yourself redline
    ....in stand still traffic, Whitelinin' is your only friend
    ....the only sign you throw up is acknowledging another rider when they pass
    ...when it gets warmer, you see and hear from people from when last season ended ...........
    ....and you're phone just does not stop ringing until it gets cold again
    ...90% of your converstation is on bikes, riding, sex, chicks, and stunts
    ...your known by your bike and the color of your gear
    ...you have friends in you're phone by name and bike i.e. troy 00r6
    ...your fav stop to hang is a deserted road or parking lot
    ...the gas station on the way to the twisties knows that sunday at 1 they will need a lot of cold redbull, and they know you by name
    ...your best friend is at the VP gas pump and the parts store
    ...you lean your head and ass thru concers in your car
    ...you go to clutch your sterring wheel and shift with your foot
    ...you know every corner and runaway spot in town
    ... you get mad when you see gravel in a intersection
    ...your girlfriend is mad cause you're talking and you hear a bike and looking for it instead of talking to her
    ...you have more stunt vids then porn tapes
    ...you check you're bike at least 3 times a nite to make sure she's safe
    ...you have shifter marks on all you're shoes
    ...if thurs nite includes a bike wash and shine, but you forget to shower
    ...when having bugs in your teeth tastes great
    ...you see a cop and twist your wrist
    ...when you don't bother taking off your helmet when you go inside a gas station to pay for gas or buy a pop.
    ...your wallet, cell phone, smokes etc. fly out of your pocket on a motorway drive.
    ...you've been chased by a big ass dog.
    ...you have to save a seat at a fast food place for your helmet, gloves, glasses, coat, etc.
    ...when it's raining outside and you still debate between riding or driving.
    ...the longest part of your trip to the grocery store is when you are standing in the magazine aisle looking at bike mags.
    ...when your driving in your car and you see a cop so you tap your head
    ...you get mad at any bike stopped and revving for no reason other then to look or feel cool in traffic...
    ...when you get mad the guy next to you for riding and you're stuck driving, or even worse... on the bus
    ...when the bottom your shoes seem to have a beveled edge from scrubbing the road on tight turns
    Got any ones that were missed out?
    I was in the states recently and hired a bike (pedal) to go over the golden gate bridge. Problem was getting to the bridge through some kinda crowded pedestrian'y bits ... I'd come up to a corner, look at it, and deciding it looked dicey would slow down and drop down a gear or two in preparation. Problem with this is that it entailed pulling in the clutch, being my left hand, which is connected to the front brake on American bikes so I had the amusement of nearly locking the front wheel every second corner.
    Similar but less dangerous amusement was had trying to put the cage in neutral and wondering where the green light on the dash was. D'oh!
    relate to most of those esp "you have shifter marks on all your shoes" (except the right ones), but...can someone explain why you would tap your head at a policeperson while sitting in a cage?
    Supposed to be an "international" sign to other bikers when you tap your helmet that there is a cop nearby.
    I hope a requirement of being a biker is not knowing what an apostrophe is if you fell over one -- or just threw a few around for the hell of it. Some people have no standards...
    Crikey, you learn something new everyday. Can't say I have ever seen another biker do that in all my 20+ years riding.
    Merkins spell it color as they are inherently lazy and that extra letter just is too tiring to write out.
