I assume the primera is not an accessory
Is it the same frame size as the venerable GN250?
I think it's smaller.
Doh. I'm looking for a learner bike for my pillion. She is 5'10", but I will need to ride it to car parks for her until she gets her L's. @ 250 size it would have been fairly marginal.Originally Posted by Magua
How long have you had it?
December last year.
How would you rate it for non motorway commuting?
Stats-Whatever you have (valves, stroke, carbs?)
I only use it for getting around town and it seems to manage that pretty well.

I'm not really mechanically minded, it's 4 stroke, 125cc, about all I know sorry. Your wellcome to take it for a ride to see what you think.
No need to sell it cause you lost some drags on it man![]()

http://www.bennettsmotorcycles.com/r...uzukign125.htm is a very positive review,
the specs are here for a 1997 model... http://www.suzuki.com/~sucycles/sr-97/spcr125.htm
http://www.suzuki.com/~sucycles/sr-97/ifcr125.htm had some very prosaic reasons to ride a bike... I especially liked the "It's the direct connection between you and your bike as you feel your tires maintain traction around a curve", as opposed to the direct diconnection you suddenly feel when your tyres dont, I suppose :S
Queiro voya todo Europa con mi moto.... pero no tengo suficiente tiempo o dinero.....
Test rode it today.
Damn good buy for some learner or commuter somewhere, just too small accross the beam for me or the pillion. So the search continues.
I would reccommend it thouroughly to anyone wanting a cheap reliable runabout or learner bike.
It struggled a bit on steep hills but with about 170-180kg including gear on the back I am not surprised. Although if you lock it down in 2nd and let the revs get up around 7k it pulls quite confidently.
The brakes while not spectacular don't wash out either and do the job intended.
Riding position was a little awkward after a sport tourer but that was to be expected being a cruiser and all.
If I was buying for my children instead of an adult I would be dead keen.
Mirrors offer a pretty good view of your nipples, but after market mirror arms would be pretty easy to locate I would imagine.![]()

To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
I picked a longer mirror arm today, no longer will I watch my arm instead of traffic.
Calm down, one at a time! She would definately need to follow in her car.Originally Posted by XJ/FROSTY
