    christ there only 250s
try an old 500 two stroke, 100 km per tank
1000 four stroke about the same if you ride them hard
my old H2 750 was real bad you had to plan a ride around
where the next gas stop was

    My good ol CB250N

City: 14-16km/l usually, had it as high as 18 once
    Motorway: 20km/l,

Usually around 120-130km before it hits reserve on a full-ish tank

Yeah it was cool, 40 degrees outside..."

I can't believe the low figures you guys are quoting... I calculated my GN250 as 33kms per litre which is better than 260 kms per tank.... 91 or 95 Octane makes next to no difference..

20.8 l/km according to my calculations. I just fill it up when I hit 250km. Most I have ever done on one tank is 275 km right after a tune up.

I recently pulled in for gas after approx 240kms still on main tank - filled up with just over 10 litres - my husband needed 17 litres in the VStrom. I think my slower speed wreaked havoc with the efficiency for it!

That's worse than my 400n around town, but better on the open road.
I get 18km/L around town and 15-18km/L on the open road.

I haven't ridden my cb200 yet (project), but they supposedly get 80mph and 80mpg.

Yeah I thought the fuel mileage would be a bit better, but the bike is heavy and has to haul my dainty 110kg frame up and down hills on my daily commute... so it's all relative I guess.

EDIT: notice any difference between 91 and 96 on the CB400N?

Last fill calculated at 22.3km/L on the Ninja. Mix of town and motorway hooning, roughly 300km+ per tank which is 18L. Not yet brave enough to do the full 396km, would do 350 before i get nervous.

Im riding to Napier on Friday, would usually go in the van which is about 8.5km/L which would use approx 52L of gas. Assuming 450km to get there. Bike will use 20.4L. Loving that!! Cant take as much gear though

on my Ninja i'm doing about 23Kms/L which is a mix between open road and city riding, on my 25km commute to work. I do around 280Km a tank. Though i still don't believe the Ninja has a 18L tank. The old man's Versys only has a 19L tank.
