Try crashing a gate doing '98 and tell me if you're still "rolling.. 10-4"

Nothing in mileage, maybe less knocking. Probably just my imagination.

    Thumbs up km/l

My CBR250R(1989) get abot 180km before touching the reserve in town or open rode...give and take. 13l for full tank(2~3l for reserve). It all dpends on the bike age and tunning and all that stuff. Cheers

My CBF250 took me from Queenstown, over the crown range and threw Wanaka up to Fox Glacier on a tank of gas and probably could've taken me to Franz Glacier before filling up, for $23, that was on way to the Woodstock rally a couple of weekends ago. So not sure how many km's that is, but its a few. lol

    On Commute - 16 k each way - 1/2 in town 1/2 in 80 k zone - never less than 33 km / l . Open road cruising at 100 that dropped to about 30.

Single cylinder 230 cc pulls from 2500 rpm up

Got the worst fuel economy out of the Hyo ever the other day... I just barely scraped in with 280 k's out of a tank.... oh dear!

You must have your numbers wrong...... 20 liters 100km..?
5 km per liter ..? V8's do better then that

My 1450 cc harley does 16k per liter.....
or 6 liters for 100 kms....

Probably means 20 Kms per liter...
That seems reasonable for a CBR250.
My VTR250 has averaged out at 27Km per liter, and I use a lot of throttle.
The first fill result was an anomaly.

My tank of 91 from Gull on Te Rakau, Botany last week gave me 372kms from my 13.5 litres - roughly 27.5km/l. I'm on a GSX250.

City riding - mostly the daily commute to the city from Howick.

Interestingly I've also been trying the efficiency of the 98 octane gas and seem to get around 350kms from the tank using the higher octane. Not sure why the lower octane gas appears to be more efficient??

I get 360km excluding reserve out of a 12 litre tank ($21) on my Djebel 250 around town. My XR8 does 420km on a 67 litre tank... so I commute on the Djebel!

Just back of the envelope calculating says I get about 28k per litre out of mine.
