    GB250 is King

My GB 250 gave 30km/l on a ride from New Plymouth to Auckland, the whole trip on one tankfull! Yes I was riding gently, but even flogging it hard and cruising at 110-130 it still gives 20km/l.

    Wait, what? I get about 150 - 160km on a full tank with a ZXR 250C. That's shit, right?

Considering the zxr's only have a 10L tank (Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong) you get around 15-16 km/L..around the standard it seems for zxr's and zr'z I think We have our winner for "worst gas sucking 250"
Ohwel atleast we'll actully be SAVING some money when we trade up to a larger capacity bike

Some sites say 10L tank, other sites say 16L. I'll pay attention the next time I fill it up.

R6_kid - i have managed 295km out of a tank on the ZXR250A theoretically that is 17km/L but it was pretty nana-ish riding.
    skidMark - $20 bucks gas about 270-290 km's on the zxr 250

These ZXRs seem to be getting way more mileage (about another 100km!), though their riders' maths could be way off.

The GSXR250 does about 20km/litre. Combination of thrashing and crawling along behind slow drivers.

Yea thats a bit rough...i get approx 160 then have to flick onto reserve which leaves approx 5 litres remaining out of the 15 litres in total.
Although that would be good mileage if your tank is half full of bog.

Those numbers are quite high but they are 'A' model zxr's. I know that the 'A' model had a different ignition system which seemed t to make them 'peakier' and obviously more efficient - I have never seen numbers like those when its time to fill up.
Any other zxr owners with comments on economy??

Around 275KM off 13 litres on the VTR250 - mostly open road riding - also run it on 91, made a huge difference when I switched the fuel for some reason...
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...
