I know exactly what you mean....nudge nudge wink wink, say no more say no more
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

14km/L on my Balius at mo - open road commuting... it'd help if I was more patient and/or got out of bed on time, fuel economy is dropping dramatically above 110.

But yeah, I think I need a tune.

12L per 100KM on my GSF250. At 100kph. Over that and its like a rich thirsty man at a bar.

Big bikes burn fuel. The SV1000 uses around 5.5L/100k at legal cruising and 6.5L/100k on fast group rides. By comparison my Ford XR6 does 9.8L/100k on the same roads and same speed as the SV at legal cruising. And the XR6 is carrying two of us plus luggage and it weighs a lot.

If you want economical transport then buy a car or a scooter. There is nothing low cost about running a motorcycle.
    Here for the ride.

On my trip to TA and back on the open road with a bit of overtaking the Zeal managed 21k/L .
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
