I agree with you that south Koreans are probably most sucessfully westernised but I don't quite agree with the reasoning. Infact, Koreans have been exceptionally good at retaining the Korean nationality Despite these invasions and as a people they have only been excellent at maintaining their way of life and culture.

I believe that our sucess with westernisation has more to do with the fact that the western way of life simply suits the Korean culture very well, as well as the fact that due to the constant invasions, freedom is one of the most important values for Koreans (which is why south Koreans tend to be so extremly capitalistic)

No offence mate mate, but reading one paper isn't exactly giving you a realistic/balanced/accurate view of even a small part of the situation over there. The general standard of what passes for "journalism" in the mainstream media is appalling.

Why don't they use that satellite that was on that documentary the other day... you know the one with the diamonds, built by some brit bloke.

    That'd sort it out.

It's all bollocks though really isn't it? The only time there will ever be world peace is when we're all dead.

In answer to the original question - Please choose at least one of the following options (just guess, because that's what everyone else is doing, including those that should know):

    1. He suffers from 'small man' syndrome (he's around 5'2"..)
    2. He's a clever little man who is going to use this 'alleged' nuclear test (or very large conventional explosion) to get even more money (blackmail) out of the certain other nations, in order to fund his fetish for platform shoes.
    3. He's a meglamaniac (often confused with point 1, like 4 x 4 drivers who never 'off road', or tow anything more than a pram. often female.)
