    Fixing the ZXR

Being tight on funds I bought a "project" ZXR750
She has bent front forks, a busted fender and a bent rear subframe, a busted fairing blade and the back seat is missing.
Anyone seen any of these bits in a wreckers anywhere ?

My brother-in-law has a 1989 ZXR750 with a blown motor, everything else in really good nick.

Only trouble is, he wants $1500...

It is a nice green colour though...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I'm an expert on bending subframes, not straightning them. Sorry.

XJ/FROSTY - I've got a flattened 89 ZXR750, unfortunately I have all the same broken bits as you, sorry

I've just bought a ZZR1100 (my new 'old man' bike ) so I know what you mean about the ZXR feeling nimble... I hope the ins hurries up so I can get another sporty bike, I miss the twisties.

Good luck getting the bits... I'll give you a yell if I see any parts in my travels.

    Sedge.

    Hi Frosty

It was nice to meet you yesterday, and good buy on the ZXR. That Ohlins shock is nice......

My little purchase revealed a surprise straight away...no keys!!! So off I go to the locksmith, wads of dollars in hand....
