Well folks, I'm reviving this thread cos i have been out of action and didn't know about it...
Actually I was out having a drink with Zed last night! And thats how I found out about his decision to give motorcycling a rest for a while.
I met Zed on the very first KB ride I went on and we quickly became good friends and riding buddies.

ZED, we did ALOT of miles last summer and I am gonna miss hooning with ya mate!
Somehow I don't think you will be out of the saddle for long...

He's not totally dead - he puts in the occasional appearance to show respect when well-loved KBers pass on.

Zed's a biker - he'll go as stir-crazy as I did without a bike for any length of time. Not sure what priorities have taken him away from riding (and his usual level of activity on this forum) and warranted him selling his bike but it cannot last forever.

    Yup, I'll second that one.

He's been really supportive when I've sent him rambling PMs about the events of the last week or so. A huge comfort.

So thanks Zed and we look forward to seeing you back on KB a lot more regularly (and for good reasons, not bad)
