Last night Sam and i were sitting in the lounge behaving (honestly... almost) and then we see this German Shepard in our garden, but I didn't see the owner, just the dog on a long lead... and Sam chirps in "Its a police dog" and me being the bitch as usual "uh huh... and how can you tell, did you see its badge?" and she replys "We make all the law inforcment leads at work" lol ok so she got me on that one... and as soon as she says that, the cop comes into sight...
We go out onto the deck and ask the cop if there is anything we can help him with (After all its our garden), while his dog is running back and forth sniffing shit, and he asks us if we have seen anyone running through our garden... so we respond "no mate sorry", and then he's gone through a hole in the fence (which was pretty amazing actually cause I didn't think the dog would even make it through let alone the big burly cop).
Sam and I sat on the deck for about 30 minutes before a police chopper started hovering around for about 25 minutes, getting closer, then futher, then closer. Then the chopper goes away and Sam and I think "oh well they must have caught him". And then about another 25 minutes later, the cop with the dog is back, running around our garden... asks us again if we saw anyone... and then runs off again...
I'm not too sure what the problem was, but there were cop cars parked outside the Slip Inn in Highbury during this whole thing, so I'm assuming it has something to do with them...
I was really impressed (Ok so in the end they proberly didn't catch the guy/girl), that cops was running around for over an hour following his dog around, and judging by where the chopper was hovering most of the time... the crim ran far away and therefore the cop would have had to run all that way following his dog...
The cop did look burly... so he must be strong... and fit to boot...
Gotta give some respect to those boys in blue and thier furry friends...![]()
