The website you have designed serves its purpose of coveying information to the user and is relatively simple and easy for the user to navigate.

Honestly, at the very most that is 5 hours worth of work and I think a fair rate would be $15 which would equate to $75.

Have a look at http://www.datumconnect.co.nz/afawcs...test-work.html, most of their web sites range from $15,000 - $30,000 depending on back end complexity.

I use to do web design shit a while back and would do 2 - 3 sites a week charging $800 - $1,500 each. Good industry if you enjoy dealing with and have an affinity for people.

But the best industry is 'corporate management' - it's all about ego! One client I have where two "people with purchasing power" were arguing over two different products to do one job and essentially it came down to proving who had made the "right decesion" and this is where I was hired to confirm that. $150 + GST x 5 Hours of "analysis" later = One boosted ego and one bruised ego and me looking forward to my new bike.

    How old are you?

If you are still at school but have half a brain, quit now and go do one of those AMES courses or something similar which gives you a bullshit certificate in Computer Support and Network + A+ and all that other + crap bullshit they have these days. You can also do all your Microsoft certs as well. Chuck it all on Aunty Helens tab, all up it'll be between $5,000 and $10,000.

Then offer cheap work to a few companies, do a couple of websites and offer to fix their computer problems. Get written references - relatives with different surnames who own businesses are great!

Then hunt for a job at a place like Orcon who pay their technical help desk something crazy between $30,000 - $40,000 p/a or take a job at that shithole EDS same wages and opportunity to progress, I had some HR tart e-mail me the other day with a position paying $18 an hour so it isn't bad really.

I think you said somewhere you're 15? why waste those 2 years at school, 'cos you're still living at home save half your wages or at least $10,000 per year, then after two years you'll have a nice deposit to put on a home.

School is a waste of time, I got my first full time job at 14 earning around 600 - 700 a week after tax. To a 14 year old still living at home that's a lot of money to waste on computer games and lollies! take aways every night $1.70 chips $3.50 chicken burger $1.50 spring roll and $1.80 hoki fish mmm

Play station is a waste of time too, you should be out riding.

computing is not a future career for me. I can't sit still for long periods. Probably gonna join the police force. 43k a year at 18 isn't bad. plus in two years and being bloody good, u can go AO or DPS.

What should make your customers happy is the end product. If you are focusing on price you'll end up over worked and underpaid.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    WTF??

    $15/hr???... plus gst???
    less tax
    less acc
    cost of lap top
    holiday pay
    cell ph
    internet conection
    advertising
    insurances (public)
    paper to print up invoices
    printer
    accountant
and unless you used a push bike, all the running costs of a vehical

this would equal around a clear profit of -$2.00/hr... still want to charge out out $15/hr???

i was paying my workers $18/hr 15 YEARS ago.( i was charging out at $30/hr and only making a $5.00/profit...)

i am a painter, i charge out at $40/hr...(and depending on the car in the drive plus gst)

if the people didn't want me, they would get some other looser and then ph me back later to fix it up...

    what a ride so far!!!!

It's pretty easy to build a web site like that... as long as you have a fair understanding of HTML you can you can copy anything from other sites,You can make a good site using Word too (or most other programes) so personally I wouldnt be interested, but I can see someone buying it for $500+ if they have time restictions or no experience with web design.

Good luck,... remember sites need to stand out, something different that catches the eye

Me bad at compooter web thing. Web site must have easy to get at stuff. Easy to read. asy to find what I want. And look good too. Don't wanna know about all the flash stuff you do behind the scenes - that's your job. A web site like that I'd pay you $500 for creating. Add maintenance and improved features and it's a goldmine.
