Cool is a gay bike an insult?

For some insane reason someone who reads this thread has decided to occasionally red rep me for owning a Bandit GSF 1200s
Comments of “Bandits suck” “gsf's are gay get a GSXR”
Seriously I don’t give a toss what you think, or about red rep. I guess it’s some one who can’t keep up with an old man like me on an old mans bike like mine, your someone who has obviously never ridden one and has no idea what a Bandit’s all about.

But what I was wondering was – is a gay bike an insult? Why? Can’t gay people ride or something.

Correct... Sideshow thinks it's clever to be sinbinned, create another user, and then red-rep people...

Woah dude, you're taking this super-serial! No, I haven't learned to wheelie, my lines are improving, and I'm still left-handed and hate non-text emoticons (:

If you had taken up that offer, your lines might've improved, due to the extra balance skills you acquire while balancing the bike on one wheel... You should learn how to do wheelies as soon as you get your next bike...
Uh...yeah...I'm gonna have to go ahead and say that that's the most unconventional advice I've ever seen about how to learn to ride. Do they teach wheelies at track schools? MSF? Advanced MSF? RRRS? I have no doubt that being able to wheelie well gives you a better understanding of your bike, and better balance, but I've heard of plenty of squids who can hold a balance point but are rubbish in a curve.

Bandits aren't gay. Bandits are legends. They're indestructible and versatile. The people red-repping you are gixxer riders who are just embarrassed that you can ride as fast as them on your old clunker, and not be dying of agony after 100 km. I like supersports bikes as much as the next guy, but seriously, in New Zealand the only reason I can think of to have one on the road is to be a poser.

Have no fear... as long as he's sinbinned, the only person that will red rep you saying that will be HAMZ MOST WANTED, which is a profile where Jeremy admits he's a girl, and he likes Suzuki's

You're just deluded, you should try the proper smileys... they even have a window dedicated to them when you're replying or quoting a message

Tell me that wheelies won't help you corner

I bet the last guy knows how to corner pretty well... GO THE CBR600 F4i!!!!!

Thought all the Honda riders, like Sidewinder, LittleSwettie, Momentum, and now Flux, should see this, in case they ever decide to repaint their bikes and join the notorious Repsol Honda team...

I think you're confusing gymnastics with riding, but more experienced riders can contradict me if they think I'm wrong.

Riding is gymnastics... take Rossi for example... he knows how to corner, because he can do good wheelies
