So you out to watch all the young eye-candy tonight warr?
i should be there as always, but i got a hunch the cops got something planned
nope.. it started with one bourbon.. now ive lost count, so town is starting to look good.
i am shady.. maybe i switched to invisible last time i was pissed..
It would be really good to get together at some stage, during the day, if Warr is willing. You don't learn when you're riding with nothing in reserve, because you don't have time to think about what you're doing and correct it if it's wrong. A more relaxed ride getting some pointers would be brill.Originally Posted by ZeroIndex
Any tips from you would be great too Smoky. You were behind me the other night...I know it was dark, but my mistakes are probably obvious enough that you could offer some advice (;
there is a theory with lines - but it's interesting that I can be on the best line in a corner and still get ridden around! From talking to others it would seem throttle balance, moving your weight, counter steering and so on is more important.
Talk to guys like terminal and war and ask them about that kinda stuff. Both have given me some good tips.
I've been riding years longer than terminal but he has developed into a tight rider - it's about asking, reading, learning and putting it into practice - then ride ride ride, and ride some more, from what I can tell.
P.S Pm'd you about a ride tomorrow
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on
Sounds like it would be good to get out for a "Lines & Tips Ride". I'd vote Paul along as well. He was involved in the previous mentor's riding and You'd probably get more sensible answers from him.![]()
My learning was doing some track time and following guys on Coro loop. The likes of Quazi. When I'm riding I'm not doing much theorising .. just sort of going. I think Paul (and others) maybe able to convey/explain better what is going on !!
