Are you implying there's something wrong with having a fucking good time driving the shit out of a subaru round rural NZ roads? Rossi!

Settle slim, it's too early in the morning to get worked up about something like that.....

And cheers for the post mike, used to goto the rallies and take photos when I was a young teen, might be some added motivation to check them out again

And he's getting the learn as well! 30th out of 40 competitors, 7:08.2 from the leader after just 2 stages!

Maybe he should have competed on a MotoX bike!!

Nevermind, 15 more stages to go... GO ROSSI!!

I found this thread in a search for Rossi and Rally but is there any thread talking about how well he did because I missed it all being in Aus except to hear he was 11th which sounded pretty good compared to his 2002 effort?
    Cheers

There was no coverage at all of the WRC or ISDE on local TV Merv, that sucks.I watched something about the rally and they interviewed some engineers and a bloody chef! They were racing on my local roads, and as I couldn't get out to watch a small amount of local coverage would of been great. And no one knows what the ISDE is,even motorcyclists don't know what it is,so why bother. Two of the biggest motorsport events in the world on in NZ on the same weekend and they are completely ignored by the local media.

I fully agree. I have sky so could watch the rally but if you didn't you were shit out of luck. I am not bagging our national sport or league( a game I play)
but these game are not played or watched the world over, yet at the rally there were about 80:20 foreigners to locals and I would hazard a guess that the ISDE was the same.
These were the times to really get NZ out there to the world.
