i was having a discussion at work today about NFL Football with some uneducated Cricket fans and they seemed to think that Gridiron was a girls game because of all the padding ...

All that aside, it's a bloody good game to watch once you get into it. The last half a dozen or so super bowls have been heaps better than the yawns they used to be.

i have played many contact sports and padding or no padding... i can fully appreciate how much damage can be done in american football.

also if i were earning $US10million/year id be wanting to protect my body also!
