    WTB: Zr250 Part.

A Slight incident today has snapped the bracket that holds the right-foot peg, rear break lever etc on my kawasaki ZR250a. So i'm looking for a replacement. If your are/ know of anyone who is wrecking a Zr250a give me a yell,
I know it's a long shot as they're some-what hard to come by but I can only try.
Any other advice on where to pick one up would be helpful.

Oh dear. Good luck. Had a hard time finding parts when I had one. I believe I have seen one at Atomic Bike Wreckers in Takapuna, AKL. Give them a call. Cant remember the status of the pegs/levers.

You could get it welded, my brother did on his zzr250, I'd guess they'll be the same type of alloy and weldable.

Thanks guys most helpful, I'll have a buzz around town on tuesday and see if anywhere can weld it and failing that I'll ring Atomic Bike Wreckers.
Hope to be back on the road soon

well....welding is a no-go Was wondering if the bracket from a zxr would fit...the bolt spacings on it look rather similar....Been quoted $100 for one from a zxr in timau...seems a little over-priced but ohwel. any bright idea's from anyone?

Hmm, that seems to be an issue with the ZXRs too, mine snapped there too, and I've seen 3-4 others with the bracket cracked in the same place.

Anyway, when I was looking for one for the ZXR I couldn't find a non-cracked one anywhere and ended up having to get one made from a machine shop. Couldn't tell you what it'd cost however since I was lucky to have a family friend who could do it for me.

    Good luck
