why is it you always seem to think someone is going to shout you a beer? Cos you're an old man?

Well not only am I am working that weekend but my bike is rooted and my wrist is broken - so not a goer.

Had a major bin today where a cyclist decided to do a U tun in front of me halfway through a long sweeping corner.

Enjoy and I will see you on the next one.

    Ferk! Bad luck or what!

That clinches it, you won't be there then!

But there'll be other KB get togethers, no doubt a handfull or KBers will be at the Glenorchy Rally in January (including that dreadful Christchurch rabble)

What a bugger. As the others have said there will be a next time. The wrist will heal, how bad/expensive is the bike damage?
I took a rather spectacular tumble yesterday at one of the best and most challenging trail rides I've done - saved by a very good dirt bike body armour vest. I suspect without it not only wouldn't I have not finished the ride but I might have been stretchered out.

Sensible I shouldn't give you the satisfaction but what the hell:

Now is that any way for 2 such distinguished and refined southen men to be talking to each other.????? Any more of this and I think removal of any distinguished looking facial hair my be required at the sheep shaggers convention!!!!!!!
