    Pics

    Here is a shite pic taken at the Coroglen but it shows the number of bikes we had out.

    Good to see all the Coro regulars, korn, kelly, spud, boomer.

    I think GIXser was expecting camera crews, he got out his nice shiney leathers and had his highlights redone for the day, I even saw him sipping THREE lattes throughout the day.

    Trashie better practive those wheelies a bit more otherwise I think larrikens gonna ask boomer to replace him in the new DVD.

    Farkin cool ride guys, thoroughly enjoyed the fast bits with with the old nail being thrashed good and proper.

    Following Beyond back towards a Kopu for a couple of kays was entertaining. No one ever told you GSX1400s are boring old mens bikes mate?

    JSG, I'm impressed man. You've come along way from a dangerous fuckwit on a shitty 250. Well done.

    Thanks to Steve for organising a fantastic event, sorry I had to gap from Kopu but I discovered a substance that looked remarkably like engine oil coating the pipe and swingarm on the bike. Thought it prudent to return home. Turns out, you shouldn't store a spare can of Red Bull beneath the tail of the bike when travelling at those sorts of speed.

This was without a doubt the best day out i've had. Thanks!

    Had a good day's riding. Took it real easy after the 3rd time the white $hite spun up while cranked over. Apologies for glum face but blame the post 30th birthday hangover downer. I want the SV1000 rider's helmet . Went for a bimble to Opoutere and met up with a friend who cheered me up. Got back late

    Good write up Ed! nice spandex and pie posts girls.. keep it up!

    my moments;

    • coming down the hill in the tight stuff, rounding a right hander to find 4 bikes parked in the middle of the road right behind an articulated truck; slam on only to see the trucks laid down loads of water. i manage to pull up beside the first parked bike
    • following spb round a right hand sweeper at god knows what speed to find a car turning across our path into a drive way; i thought we were gonnas fore shore!
    • coming through Clevedon, trying to catch teh Dover and GixSer up, i'm absoultely shagged and haven't got the strength to push my trike around the corners, i end up in someones front yard. (The cummadore found it highly amusing)

    ps.. Ben, i did double post

    Cheers Steve, great ride, good to meet a few I havn't before and catch up with the great people I have!
    Had a great ride through to Themes, then shit to Coromandel - (sorry whoever was stuck behind me ) But not bad to coroglen, My boot hit the ground and it put the shits up me, left coroglen (last) with the trouble makers and headed back over Kopu for a coldie. What a great day, ending with great friends! Heres to many more like it!
    Swinging - My new found passion. It Rocks!.. And rolls! I want MORE!
