    Where shall I sleep tonight?

I'm staying in my workshop tonight to make it a bit easier to get to the Kaipara 200 tomorrow without getting into the camping bit....well sorta. So where to sleep? I was going to kip down in the back of my Nissan van,but it's up on stands with the gearbox out after coming back with a stuffed clutch on a loaner (grrrrr!) I don't want it to fall off as I thrash around in the night.I could spend half an hour figuring out how to make the Pajero into a bed....but I've done that before and it's bloody uncomfortable.

Hang on....I could use that Volvo 940 Turbo Stationwagon - it's got tinted windows and the back seat is permamently down with a carpet lined flat wooden tray in the back....Choice eh! Eeeeee.I don't know if I even want to sleep in the same building as a body transfer vehicle, the last occupant might be still hanging around in the ether y'know....

So it looks like it'll be the Lada, the seat folds down enough to make enough room for a short fulla like me.....with my feet hanging over the edge. But I left my camping mattress with pillow behind - I had so much stuff to load up as I don't know what the weather will do meaning a double kit...that I forgot it.Sleeping on steel I'll be dreaming of sleeping on nice soft grass....

Not to mention bikers are allergic to Volvo's....we normally break out in "road-rash".........

Here's hoping NONE of us get to see it from the "passenger" seat.
