Flash goes off, Brutus moves into the crowd, there's a yell, the sound that plastic and metal make when it is unmanufactured, and some inverse crowd surfing as a punter slides out the door on his/her belly.
Bob is definitely right in this instance though. They entered a contract and then blew him off. I turn my phone off when I go to meetings. Being a BOFH means I can disable a client's Blackberry system before I go to a meeting with them to ensure it isn't interrupted.
