If anyone saw me on the western this afternoon...

I bet you would have laughed.

Lou lent me a beautiful $1200 full noise Harley-Davidson Jacket - with the 4" H-D lettering and big logos, and I had the full black leather, bandanna mask, open face, johnny rebs and the full hard case costume - all to do the Road King Custom test and cover shots for Kiwi Rider. (yeah - I've had a beautiful new White Road King all week - and as i gave it back today I don't mind saying so now)

Loved the bike. Full report will be in the December issue.

So I give it back after the shoot and I'm stuck at the end of the North Western in full Hog attire.

So Vege says - 'I'll lend you a bike.' (quietly pissing himself) and chucking wheelies on it in the carpark to warm it up for me, so from North-West to East at peak hour, lane splitting, 6'5", 110kg in HARLEY F***ING DAVIDSON mode...on a Honda CB250F.

    Funny as.

Now that is a photo worthy of the cover of Kiwi Rider.

Ha! very good - but Nah mate - The 96 cube harley with the 6 speed is not only a fabulous looking bike - it gets along just fine. I gave it a floggin' and came away beaming. Beautiful bike.

The little Honda goes pretty good too.

I wonder why these new big-inch Harleys with loads of torque are coming out with 6-speed boxes, but I guess you won't tell me, I have to wait until December to find out........

    I can imagine it now!

And, as Highlander says, worthy of inclusion in KR as a photo in its own right!

Tch. If he can't look you in the eye sober, without a step ladder, how is drinking heavily going to help. Then he won't even be able to climb the step ladder.
