Autosol for Chrome is what you need to use...
Go to your local Mitre 10 store..... its about $9 a tube...
Put a little bit on a cloth or old toothbrush.... rub it in... and wipe it off and polish with the clean soft cloth.

The autosol tube will last a long time.
Toothbrushes - go to the $2 shop and buy the packs of 4 or 5 for $2.
Toothbrushes get in to the hard to get places...

Lucky guy, and you're mate sounds like a good one - most people would've sold the bike. Enjoy your time on two wheels.

    Hey Donor,
    Welcome to kb.
This place is full people who can help in all ways. Enjoy your time here and enjoy the new bike. Take it easy and as someone said earlier - treat everyone else on the road like they are a potential risk. It will help ya stay alive.
All the best for getting the licence.

Are you taking any prescription medication? [Rain Man]

    Brilliant...

Doing my Basic Hadling Skills Cert on Saturday in Albany, then got my scratchy test Monday at 2pm - so Monday arvo, I will be a legalised newbie.

Then it's just a matter of dealing with The Law when the buggers pull me over in me car and have a spit at my learners licence (cos the blind buggers fail to see Class 1 & 6 down the bottom...)

But Law bashing aside, one step closer to 2 wheeled freedom... then it's a WOF and some rego to go... could be a few weeks, my mechanical knowledge on bikes is marginally lower than my ability to find the myth that is the female orgasm...
