    Hey, I don't know much about the gpx's, I would also like to know what the diffrence is... personally I like the look of the GSX more though... can any one help Vetran and myself out here?

    I think the reason why there is no info on the net about gsx's are because they are quite new... But some one else probably has a propper explanation and reason for that too

    GPX and GSX - both parallel twin engines.
    GPX = 140kg
    GSX = 180kg
    GPX is still in production using 15 year old technology
    GSX is no longer in production used 20 year old technology

    These are the titbits of info I picked up during weeks of searching before I bought a VTR 250.

    It's getting harder to find fast 250s now because the worldwide 250 market is not lucerative for bike manufacturers any more - Japan has power restrictions and in Australia you can ride bigger engined bikes. In most of Europe the 125cc is the learner limit too. New Zealand is just too little to have any impact.
