I did meet up with a guy with a phone camera so there will be some shots of

    1. a Mad Max impersonator/maybe the real guy doing a burnout on his rim. the video (see it to beleive it) will be on www.hoons.com at some point later in the year when the site is running.
    2. a CBR 900 with both tyres/rims rooted after hitting potholes from taumaranui
    3. maybe pics of the 10m wide bonfire?
    4. hopefully pics of the guy on a GSXR 750 doing a hill climb with a knobbly tyre and a pissed guy trying to spray everyone with mud from his old moto guzzi.

but sadly no pics of the ZX-12R's number plate cut clean in half by the steel belts from the tyre when it exploded on the burnout pad!!

awesome time... saturday morning was THE time to ride down: no rain, clear roads, not too cold and had sweet ride back in the sun until 20k out of matamata but it was only patchy squalls.

Yeah, the guys beside us were putting butane cylinders in their fire-very cool-until one of them came and stuck a suspicious wrapped object in our fire and then fucked off (claiming it was a spud).
Still, it didn't blow up so that was a save. specially considering the petrol station we had going-20l unleaded,10l race gas and a bottle of nitromethane. all to keep the A100's performing all weekend.
    Luv it!
