The 9th it is. I like it. I've got a kids birthday party that day, so any ride I do will only be on the Sunday.

Jantar remind us closer to the day and we will make sure we meet up. Any chance of a lunch or are you all tied up during those days in Dec?
    Cheers

Well it won't have the same exposure/advertising but how about I get some enquiries made and sort out something for the 9th/10th?

    Preliminary;
Sat 9th meet at Rimutex 11.
Ride over the hill and around the Wairarapa.
Lunch/Afternoon tea somewhere over there. (Pahiatua)
Back over to Kaitoke. Or other option to be investigated.
BBQ, general merriment, Beer, possibly some sleep.

    Sunday ...?

    Rimutaka Forest park has BBQs.

Day ride over the Takas, back over Pahiatua track and back out to Wainui Coast Rd.

Did that a couple of times in the olden days.

    Or a poker run.

Or a Day Rally with clues and questions to answer and prizes donated by some of the awesome Wellington Bike shops.

But ending up at Rimutaka Forest Park for a BBQ.

I like the idea of the day rally ending up with a BBQ (and prizes).
We should have lunch and sort out a thing so it can be posted and sorted and stuff...

    Sunday ...?
We maybe keen to tag along on this as we have to ride quite a number of kms before Feb
So if you are thinking of riding to Pahiatua then why not have lunch at Mangatainoka
I could book a tour of the Tui Brewery at 1pm and if we want could arrange a BBQ for $11 a head??
    Tour costs 10 a head?

    Thoughts?
We would probably meet you there and then ride back to Welly and stay overnight and enjoy the hospitality

However doesnt it always rain at Kaitoke
    Maybe consider Lake Ferry??

    Cheers Scott

Should be down Welly for Xmas this year so should be free as long as I don't have to work that is.
You know you had a good nite when you have to ask someone if you had a good nite.
