The family and I will be there between 3:30 and 4pm as the boys are going to the xmas parade with their grandparents.

I should be able to attend all going well

Anyone want to meet up a little earlier in the day and have a bit of a ride before the gathering, and then make our way out there? Drop me a pm
Or is there already a pre organised ride?

It'll be just me on Saturday as the boss has gone up to Blenheim for the weekend. Means I have to drink responsibly, bugger!

Looks as though PLUG et.al are going to be doing gravelly stuff around the bays, which my zook won't like very much... and me with very little gravel experience won't help there! Anyone doing anything on the tarmac? No sprotbike or sprotbike wannabes?

Not that I can keep up with many anyway, so I'd prefer a ride at less than warp speed!

I'm sure we can arrange something... It would be nice to get out on my bike before the BBQ.
Will have to get back in time to get the BBQ on the truck and out to the meeting place tho, so I'm thinking about 12pm to somewhere?

    Ah shit.

For some reason I could have sworn this was being done on Sun 3rd. Looks like it'll just be the boys and me as Jay is working.

Works well for me. Could zip over to Akaroa, or do the Gebbies pass run, or something else? I'm sure you'll have a couple of ideas that could eat up a couple of hours. Could go through Sumner and on up the hill that way too... Anything involving the port hills usually works for me, good fun. Let's hope it isn't raining!

Hmm. Odds of me keeping up with a Buell? Not farking likely!! I love my bike, but it having a [useable] top speed of about 120km/h is a pest sometimes. So I'll be slowing you down somewhat. Just so you're aware of that! Send me a text tomorrow if you get the chance - 027 696 7896.

nah you'd have no trouble, I dont go out on the road to try and loose my licence, keep that for the track as much as possible

I won't be in any hurry anyway, so shouldn't be a problem. So if you want to take the lead so I've got something to ogle...
    Oi! I meant the bike!!

Where and when would you like to meet, and any preferred route?

What if it rains? Are we all going to sit at the bbq chomping our steaks in the rain?
