TLDV8 - is that your H2 in the picture? What a bloody immaculate bike! Have you tried contacting Eric Bone? He may be able to help? Not sure off the top of my head what his contact details are but I could find out if no-one on here knows (and I'm sure they will)

Eric will be at the Classic meeting at Pukekohe on sunday 11th,look for the brown big ''K'' leathers, most of the triples will be in his pit. He's building a race 750 so he doesn't keep damaging his street H2 racing.

I wish LB..that 72 H2 is in Ohio....... I remember Eric Bone was doing Resto's for Graham Crosby at one stage..I was getting some parts one time and Mr Crosby himself walked past the parts counter and heard the word H2 so i got the guided tour ..but i do have some H2's,first one was the Paul Pav/Chris Natrass H2B i got off Mollers in 1980 and a couple more tucked away, they are super expensive to restore not to mention things like $1600 crankshafts etc...I have a lot of new parts for the H2B but still need more before any kind of Restoration could be started, most so far have been off US Ebay,Rick Brett in GB or bought new here when they were available... there was a rumour one of the parts guys from Summers had bought most of the H2 stock up,maybe in Tauranga now?..There are a few stories of piles of NOS tucked away... I just thought someone might have a a box or two gathering dust, dreams are free ...There must still be a lot of non runners sitting in the back of sheds our there

It's a damn shame these things are so expensive to run these days due to the spares situation. Fortunately that will drive the value of runners right up and then an owners club will form and then peopl will start making parts again.

After all... You can now build a brand new Vincent V twin engine with all sorts of upgrades as well and I'll bet there were a lot less of them made than H2's (might be wrong on that)

This is what I love about the Guzzler. Common components across the whole range and a basic platform means parts galore and cheap running. I doubt I could afford to run any other old bike on the street these days...

    Cheers

Did you see the article in the BRM an issue or two about the restored one? I think he was from Wgtn. If you want his contact details I may be able to get them for you.

I also may have another contact for you who may have some parts...I'll see what I can do.

    Laurie Summers....now there's a name I haven't heard in a while.....

There's a certain "je ne sais quoi" about these two-stroke triples isn't there.
