I am in love with that RGV250. But the sensible person in me says it would be a very silly idea.

Plus I have a mint RG150 waiting for me when Haldanes to sort their shit out.

Is 8 weeks normal waiting time for a relatively simple repair job?

For a 2 stroke 150cc single cyl? I would have thought a full engine rebuild would only take half a day - powervalves are the onlly kinky bit with those bikes apparently the rest is pretty much bog standard lawnmower material.

What are they fixing on it?

And why didn't you ask the fella downstairs?

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

TermAddict, in all honesty I'd let it go.

If they want $3k, and you only want to spend $2 - don't sweat it. They put or near offer.

"Or" being an option and "near" being suitably vague. I'll bet it doesn't sell, they come back with another listing at the price they really want and all is good.

Out of my league here, but I think the CGA might be a bit stretched to cover a request for $3,000 in a private sale requesting offers approximating $2,500, As has been said, walk away if it doesn't suit.

Start a fight if you want, you have nothing to lose but your time.
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details

Yea that was before I worked there, havent been there for long, as you noticed

Its for fixing my street magic TR110 that I crashed into a courier van when he turned across the bus lane on Dom rd. It was also sold when I crashed it

The guy who is buying it is still keen to buy (as long as its done well). So when I get the money from that I will be off to get my wonderful RG150.

Aye they're nippy wee bikes and no mistake. Have had a couple of frights when borrowing the wife's and looking down at the speedo thinking "Faaaaark - I thought I was only doing 100!"

haha... in actual case you probably were. They have a horrible over-reading speedo. I did 140-150km/h all the way back from Hamilton on my old one and I was only just passing the traffic.

My mate on his CBR250RR said he was doing 120-130km/h.

You have got me all excited now!! Dammit Haldanes this is frustrating! 8 weeks! 8 fucking weeks!

Sorry - mist hae bin ma strenge arksent. The word is WANTON, which in normal conditions does not signify something that one would eat (yes, yes, I know...)
