The last round of the MotoGP, who needs to finish where?????

I got this off the MotoGP.com site.
Where Rossi needs to be in relation to Mr Hayden at the end of Sunday's race if he is to be crowned king again.

On more than one occasion the past where an Italian has been in contention for a title, the other Italian riders have ridden as a team and blocked the other contender(s).

Capirossi himself was a beneficiary of this when he won his 125 crown. Italian riders blocked the Dutch and German opposition.

In another case it was an American who suffered and he is quoted as saying,
"If I'd known it was going to be like that I'd have bought a gun!"

I suspect it is possible that Hayden may have Milandri and Capirossi for company on Sunday. Even closer than his underpants...

I'll go with... May the best rider win.

With that though, it has to be Rossi. To be where he is now with not finishing three races due to technical problems, he has proven to be a much better rider. Even if we say he's two races behind now Nicky was taken out, that's still 50 possible points to be had. Then there's Capirossi who got taken out and never finshed and had bad results.... Melandri too, had bad neck/clavicle issues....

Ultimately, the name on the cup means all but if you take the season into account, IMO Nicky ins't the best rider out there...

Much as I hate to admit it I think monkey-boy will do it again, he's easily capable of staying with Hayden........

    Arrow meh.

Good chance that Rossi could bin it or the shytsta Yamaha will crap out. If the Kentucky Kid can make a good start it will be Repsol Honda all the way.

Arrow Nothing to do with brand loyalty.

I just think he has a chance at winning the race, thats all. Oh wait, I'm off to buy another Honda, making it four... but I do have others. I also think the Repsol team is the stronger team, buts thats just my opninion.

Stronger team???? lol. Maybe stronger cause they'll be beating the shit out of each other after last race. Yamaha has a far stronger team to repsol. They get to do what they think is best to win the championship, not have kamikaze maniacs taking each other out.
