pfft get a better browser FF2 ftw
He is more than capable of passing and holding off the American, I doubt that Hayden could hold a pass on Rossi though.
Yeah hopefully the little Rooster keeps his head reeled in this race!

If the race finishes like this again, it will be enough for Rossi

Checkit (from MotoGP News):
"So here we are. The MotoGP fans are excited. The Rossi fans are excited. We're all excited! If excitement and tension could be measured on a thermometer then this week they'd be highly toxic mercury pissing out onto the carpet in homes all around the world.
After 13 operations on Jester, 563 new LCR fairings, 1 career harming Ellison petition, 45 Hopkins court orders and 16 MotoGP races we're here at the last round in Valencia where the 2006 championship title will be decided.
Some say the script couldn't have better. They are wrong of course as a Gurkha invasion and a talking pie would have made the season even more exciting but nether-the-less the 2006 MotoGP championship has been a beaut.
Now some may argue that a few of the races this year have been rubbish - and they'd be correct. Despite all the excitement generated by MotoGP some events have been F1 style dull. But it matters not as every negative aspect of the season, even including the time Foggy showed up at Donington, can be cast to the recycle bins of our memory in readiness for what can only be the single most exciting race in the brief history of MotoGP.
If you need telling the score then you're clearly an incredibly simple person - probably ugly too.
It's Rossi vs Hayden right? Wrong. It's Rossi's gang verse Hayden's gang. And this is where things get spiced up like pepper-spray up the anus.
Rossi's gang consists entirely of Colin Edwards. That's the MotoGP equivalent of having Mother Teresa armed with a fish-finger as a gang member ready to take on an angry New York mob.
Hayden, on the other six fingered hand, has a plethora of hungry young chargers to help him…along with Makoto 'The Rotten' Tamada. And Hayden this time will have the services of a certain little gang member who accidentally stabbed him up the arse with his flick-knife last time out. Pedrosa has publicly apologised for the incident at Estoril and you can bet your bottom wadjel that he'll be a supportive right-hand man to Hayden as any rider could be.
So who'll do it? The instant knee-jerk reaction is to say Rossi - he's leading the championship and has won every MotoGP championship since Honda came up with the four-stroke idea. But will he? Honda has no team orders. Or so they say. They had no team orders last time out and were made to look stupider than a Petronas Superbike, especially as Yamaha, who clearly did have team orders, got the job done. This time out I think it's a fact that all the Honda riders will be supporting Hayden and generally try to beat the crap out of Rossi.
Hayden can't, and never could, win this championship on his own. He needs his 'chums' to back him up - and they will. Will or can they do enough? I don't know. But it'll be tighter than most give it credit for.
Anyway I'm too excited to write anymore. Enjoy. "
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
Does he forget the large contingent of Italians in the field, well known for riding to secure an Italian victory? http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...06&postcount=5
Dont rate that article really.
Colin didnt confirm to team orders he jsut cant keep the pace of Rossi in that last race, though he did a fuckin marvellous job as tail end charlie for Rossi, and he aint no slouch compared to Hayden so I think he shouldn't be doubted.
Well, duh!! :slap:
Didja check that link? Didja?
It's not exactly a very serious MotoGP site, but usually entertaining. (I thought the bit about "pper spray up the arse" would've been a giveaway).
If you read another article on there by "Randy Mamola", he always places the Murkns in first, second and third places.![]()
And "King Frog" (aka 'Fogarty') always says they're all crap and that he could beat all of them. And that he never moaned or blamed his tyres, bike or crew if he didn't come first.![]()
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.

This may be a stupid question and I am sure has been asked before
but
Is this race been shown on TV? I can't find it.
The answer is here
You bet me to it sAsLEX.
If the race is half as exciting as that practice I can't wait. Seven thousandths of a second between the top three with Rossi on top.
Hayden - Evidence that even the mediocre can achieve great things.
((U+C+I) x (10-S))/20 x A x 1/(1-sin(F/10))
Given Rossi's record for crashing, its highly unlikely he'll bin it. As for the Yamaha crapping out, thats also highly unlikely. The only time it did was a cooling issue, and once in a few seasons is pretty good going. Other problems were tyre related and out of Yamaha's control.
Repsol Honda is a good team for sure, but then all the honda's are better than the Yamaha's: Rossi is the fundamental difference.
Even if the KFC kid can win, Rossi just needs to be behind him.....
