Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
‘Tis a bit of a hassle. Wet days are the worst – you do tend to see a few walking round with boots and pants still on. Where there’s a will there’s a way I guess. Haven't tried the lockers yet, I've managed so far just carrying stuff around.
People wearing gear looks cool. Wear it.
Determined to kill my bike before it kills me
Important thing to note. Not all lockers at UoA will fit a helmet!
CompSci lockers will fit all your gear. CompSci demonstrators lockers aren't wide enough for your helmet :/
Also prices for lockers vary dramatically depending on your department.
Awww get over it,
When I was at uni I used some pvc waterproof overpants (about $60) when the weather was bad, then they would just fold up and go in a plastic bag in my pack when I got to uni. I wore my leather jacket pretty much all the time, Chicks dig a guy with Leathers and a helmet.
As one mate at uni who had never seen my bike once asked "Do you actually ride a bike? or just wear the leathers and helmet to pick up chicks?"

yeah fully draggin jeans and a nice leather jacket nothing you wouldnt wear for a good night out!![]()
I lost my licence and i havent riddin all month!!!- YEAH RIGHT
Yeah - that's right - at the time you didn't ride a bike did you?
I use a tank bag for work - I can fit trainers and a pair of jeans in easily and I just wear the leather jacket (on Fridays - the rest of the time I wear suits) I can't get my leg over a bike with a top box on when I'm wearing my leathers.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
a big hikers back pack works a treat and a bum bag round each arm and leg hahah![]()

Yeah that was well after I left uni though.
Edit. Har Har, Just cause its a wee thing doesnt mean it isnt a bike, some of us dont need ooodles of torque to carry us around
Besides, the cute young ladies who didnt know anything about bikes thought it looked quite sleek and sexy in dark metallic green.

Who ate all the pies!? Waitaminute, did you kill my brother? Got new motor? It's all good - the little inconvinience of carting your kit around is mitigated by the sheer fact you're riding a bike!
It's all good!![]()
And you could always try riding without the gears and only the lid...NOT!![]()
"I like to ride anyplace, anywhere, any time, any way!"![]()
When I started riding, I wore knee guards under my jeans, and took them off at uni.. .then I got bored with that, and left them on. Then I was naughty, after a period of time, and didn't wear them, as I figured I wouldn't have stupid accidents (ie, dropping bike, or my mistake). Just wore jeans, bike jacket, gloves helmet etc.
Never used a locker, never locked the gear to the bike, just wore the gear, and had gloves inside helmet, and it got carried around.
When I had 1 lecture on a day, or something similar, I wore full cordura gear, and just walked into lectures like thatSometimes it got fucken hot tho... must admit.
Best was exam times, the old people watching over, would initially tell me to stop, and put my gear with everyone elses, but I told them I had a helmet etc, so I was able to put the gear right next to the main lecture tables at the front etc... all speshal like.
