    **Kiwis Taking On The Aussies**

    Hey All!!

Just thought I would let ya'll know that we are kicking ass over here in Hobart!!

    Currently we are standing:

NZ Womens Team 2nd (NSW 1st) by 5 points
NZ Mens Team 3rd (NSW 1st) by 10 points
NZ Mens and Womens combined we are sitting 2nd equal overall with Victoria and NSW are 1st.

I am currently coming 5th in the All Stars with a 193.5 ave after 7 games.
Two other ladies on the team are sitting in 2nd and 4th

Going into tomorrow (The last day) we are in a great position and will go out all guns blazing as we want to win those medals and hopefully take the trophey offshore for the first time ever. !!!!!!!!

It is kinda cold here, it was pouring down with rain most of today.
Really miss surfing KB!!!! Am on the computer in the motel for a bit, will check in tomorrow.

Live results are avail at http://www.tenpin.org.au

    Lol nice one

Well... The Rachuig cup is now over...
NZ ladies, we came 2nd (By only 2 points to NSW, Damn it!!)
the NZ guys bowled like dicks and came 5th.
    Overall we came 5th.

Had the guys got one more point... or even half a point.. (won one more game or had a draw for the half point) then they would have got 3rd and NZ would have come 2nd in the overall.

So slightly gutterd bout that... but us ladies did so very well.

I ended up 11th in the all stars, which gives me automatic entry into the Australian Masters which starts today at 4pm (6pm NZ time). Because I made the top 12 for Rachuig, I have a first round bye. yay!! then its knockout best of 5 games etc... $$ up for grabs for this part of it too
Fingers crossed I can get my hands on some of that lol

3 days till south america now, a bit nervous... but will do fine im sure.
Not looking forward to the long flights tho.

haha... I wish... Got knocked out 4th round.... (top 16 went down to top 8)
Only got a couple of hundy aussie. Dont feel too bad tho cuz the lady that knocked me out (3-1, 4 games) ended up winning the whole thing and getting 3,000aus. I fought really hard and almost took the 4th game which would have ment a 5th game final match to determine who advances.

Still pleased with the result tho, was my first Rachuig comp and first aussie masters comp. Bring on next year... we came so close this year... and def shook them up!! quite a few of us made the All Stars teams too... which had not happened before
