How: Good place to park your bikes are where we are meeting however I would recommend grabing a ride in with someone so you can drink...

What to bring: (If you can)

Food and Drink. Something to sit on either a Mat/Beachtowel or a foldup chair etc...... Santa Hat or a Light stick or anything that lights up after dark (cigarette lighters do not count) - Not mandatory but recommended.

Weather forecast is looking at fine with an occasional shower for the weekend (AT THIS STAGE) however I will post up another one closer to the day.........

    Any questions?

Well Rhino and I did go to this event and were having a great time but the weather decided it wasn't going to play nice. Rhino and I bailed at half time cause we were freezing. The wind chill factor was amazing. I had a mild asthma attack on the way back to the car and could hardly breathe - never had one before but I think it was the result of a nasty chest infection this year. A nice hot bath when we got home (thankfully only to Mt Eden) brought my breathing under control again and I feel better now.

Thanks to the Qks for another great Piss-up in the Park. The tarp was a God-Send but sadly I didn't need the wheelbarrow.

Good to meet some old and new faces!!

Will have to bring my thermos next time!! Rain, Thunderstorm and wind. The wind temp was so bloody cold even Qkkid was feeling it.......... (usually he would be running around in a teeshirt/shorts and I would be wrapped up in thermo gear freezing )

Got some piccys.............as we progressed thro the night. (And before the camera-lady had too many wines..) Its amazing what people can do with free samples of TOILET PAPER!!

We had a very good view of the fireworks - so good that 2 of us had hot debris fall on our head. We decided to pack up before the last song so we could get a jump on the crowds leaving......... and they let the fireworks off from the top of the hill as we were about to walk past....

The Symphony In The Park will be better - at least the weather should be more stable than last night!

Christmas in the Park is on TV3 tonight @ 7.30pm.

Hahaha good piccy of a wee bit sozzled Qkkid, SPB..........
