Is that some form of humour saying Lou is the son of the LPG sniffer, ergo is brain-dead???

Or is it worse, that you are telling Lou the sniffer has already sired a son!

    Steep, innit?

I saw a Mini full of boys run out of power on the steepest bit, had to reverse down and do a starsky and hutch turn when they discovered that minis have shitty brakes in reverse...result, one mini on its roof.

fulton hogan relocated a house to the top...no shit, what an operation.

I delivered a load of sewer pipe to a building site at the very top, poor old truck almost ran outta puff in first gear , and you cant get a Totota toyoace up it in the rain with no load.

Its amazing how funny it usually is, and how easy it is to pass judgement until it happens to someone you know. Bugger

Dont worry Paul, Im not in the habit of taking things personally. Im trying to stay away from this thread as Ive realised personal feelings can turn a thread ugly.

You are right, the kid was a result of a drunken night out. As I said earlier in the thread, he wasnt a bad kid, he just got mixed up in the wrong crowed and it influenced him enough to change and not realise he could do a lot better with his life.

18, a son, an ex and a penchant for sniffing LPG inside a car with others inside it (whose mental capabilities have to be questioned too) and lighting a smoke afterwards, kinda paints a picture, don't it?

EDIT I'll remove my first and last comments and revert to just shaking my head in astonishment, the mind boggles...

Did he check the story out, no.
I had to, and ring him back and settle his precious soul.
just tell him not to let it run out....running out of lpg means a towie is needed, lol.

Let's face it, there are members of our community that are going to kill themselves by doing dumb shit, no matter what. Banning or restricting access to "dumb shit du jour" merely forces them to look elsewhere for terminal gratification, as evidenced by last weekend's Blenheim homies. As long as their final exit doesn't involve "innocent" bystanders, then we can wish for no more.
