I thought there might have been a conversation on this one - quite usefully, there are links in this next link to other threads:

Still quite an idea though - I believe that BMW will basically "build one if you want one". I think I read it was a case of "Lets see if we can do it - and if people want to dip in their pockets, then we'll make one for them".
Nice to see a company make something... because they can. And not immediately consign it to the "concept bike" bin.

The HP2 now comes with two sets of wheels and is about $3000 dearer as a result, however you can now swap between dirt bike and motard in your gargre.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
I understand there are 3 new bikes from BMW using this model/engine config, a super moto, off roader and dual purpose thing
Yep,KTM`s a lot cheaper and a lot better-looking.From what I`ve heard and read about build quality, particularly corrosion and electrical problems,BMW are losing the plot. They were always expensive but most accepted that they were head and shoulders quality-wise over most other bikes.Expensive and top quality will sell, expensive and shoddy? That`s what finished the original Triumph company.
A nice looking bike, BMW have come a long way in styling from the old R series bikes
If you can't be good, be good at it
