    Hey Guys & Gals,
Is anyone able to give me a ride out to Little India? I was gonna ride out but I was thinkin' if I can get a ride with someone else then I can "enjoy" myself a bit more. The only snag is I don't finish work until 7pm.

So if anyone is gonna be passing through Wellington CBD around 7pm can they let me know and I can arrange to meet them somewhere to get a lift. I work on Boulcott St.

    Thanks in advance, Cathy

    Ha ha....

Vicki and i gave Jimbo750's neighbours a ride home last night from the Paekakarieki (sp?) War Memorial Hall where a mates (wot i went to school with) band was playing....

I told them some GREAT stories about you Jimbo....

Naturally I had to make a lot of it up because I don't know you very well but don't worry, you are now famous.... (no no don't thank me) I think they thought I was a bit crude (well I was pretty pissed and I am a bit earthy for you younger types) but the dancin' was GREAT and I had a ball!! Yahoo!

I'll be comin along with Velox.

Last time we went to Cafe India in town with about 30 people, we talked to them beforehand and organised it so they'd charge us $30 per person, and we just got whatever food and drinks we wanted. Daawat usually lets one of us eat and drink free for every 8 people in our group we take there too, so it might be worth a shot to see if Little India can do us a deal since we'll have so many people.

Nice that they left your PC and phone line untouched though...

Except I'm a poor student and will try and spend less than $30! So if that idea does go ahead can some of us not?

Ive just spoken to Raj at LI. They do a banquet deal for two people, $26 each for mixed platter, Murg Mumtaz, Lamb Madras or Beef Vindaloo, Malai Kofta, Basmati Rice, Tea or Coffee and Ice Cream - Roughly works out to be about $65.00 worth.

Alternatively they can just give you and/or your partner a name or number at the table and you just tell them the number when you go to pay...seems pretty simple this way and you get a choice of orders and quantity.

BTW - I have to deal with these people in my job so I don't want any greasy bikers embarrassing me.....please remember this if your head starts to cave in from too many Kingfishers.....

    .

I'd probably prefer to go with the name/number system and order our own.
