    At Burwood Now

Just to let you all know that John has been transferred to the Burwood Spinal Unit now - he went this afternoon and is stoked. He is in a side room for the weekend while he finishes recovering from his aspiration pnuemonia and then on Monday he goes into a shared room.

Told him yesterday that I had bought a new house which is perfect for some-one in a wheelchair and his attitude now is that Burwood is a means to get fit and rehabed as quick as possible to get home and see his new place. He's happy because it has a study and he can have a tv and the X-box in our bedroom.

    Cheers Donna

Glad to hear that IL4 has made the next step forward. Sweet! Im down that way in about a month so if I get the chance I will make a visit.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

    Arrow hey all

Finally back online and improving every day. Sadly my riding days are over however I will allways be keen on two wheels. All the bikes will eventually be sold as we have brought a new house and I have no need for them. Thankyou all very much for your help and support. It has been a humbling experence. Will still follow WSB GP and be keen to stay on here but with no ride
Im now at burwood and looking at learning a new lifestyle/recovery. Sonds like 2006 was not a good year for KBers havng accidents, condolances to all. Im just happy to be alive, have my arms and have no brain injury, thanks to the cheap hjc skid lid

Welcome 'home'. Is good to hear you are on the up. Gunna trick-out the new wheels with Ohlins etc??
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
