    Honda RC212V UGLY

Damn!!! 2007 Honda 800cc RC212V's one ugly bike. I hate the rear. Front and intakes very similar to K1 GSXR's. Fuel bladder under seat.
    What do you think?

If it wins next year's championship I'll be happy with it. The rear end does seem a bit weird, maybe Doohan is advising them at HRC because he always liked to change a few things just to psych his opponents.

Sounds more like a 2 stroke than a V4 4 stroke. The Duc is similar, the smaller engine a lot higher pitched than the 990 was.

Yeah what's with the funny seat and rear end, was Eric Buell right all along with design?
    Cheers

Not sure how Ducati managed this, maybe its just the angle of the photo, but Casey Stoner on the Ducati 800.....jeez this thing looks shocking!!
Also rumour has it that Casey will race the bike like this, as the team have decided the extra cost in painting fairings for him is going to be way to high!!
Maybe they are just saving fitting bodywork until Casey has settled into the bike?

Since the racers don't require anything behind their arse what has been the point of the little bit that gets used as a pillion seat on the road going replicas anyway?

I think it's a good move - losing a bit of useless surplus weight.

I'd have one... (once I get me millions that is...)

As for the Duc ~ let's hope Stoner can keep the front end from washing out and keep the bike on the track.
How many offs was it for him in 2006? How is he still in MotoGP? How is he riding for Ducati???

Maybe the new bike will be more suited to his riding style...
    Keep it rubber-side down...

hmmm, not sure about that tail unit, or lack of.
like the new Triple, it looks too "streetfighter-ish".

If Ducati keep it black, Casey's gonna need a black bogun get-up...

That youtube clip makes ya realise how much happens away from the spotlight
