Smile Yay! I won a Rapid bikes comp!

Haha... In July I sent in an entry for a Rapid Bikes comp for the "Racing for MS" section... Thought I had the one answer wrong... but no! I got an email today stating I had won and... yeah... read it lol

    Hi Tammy,

Sorry to have taken so long in getting around to this but….. you have won the Rapid Bikes/Racing4MS July comp.

We have a Racing4MS tshirt and cap to send over, just let us know what size you would like.

If all goes to plan, you will get a mention in the December issue too

    Cheers

    Mark and Sarah-Jane
hehe, I know the prize isn't huge... but still... that tickled my fancy

Questions were: What number is the Racing for MS bike? And what number did the Editor race with at Eastern Creek (or something)?

The first one was easy... they had the picture on the page with the question... the second one was a bit harder... I searched all the old issues of Rapid bikes... and couldn't find anything, then did a search online and only found a number he used about 2 years ago... so I took a chance and sent that number in... haha

    woop!

    Congrats placidfemme.

Remember some years ago I won an autographed boxed Linux edition of Quake 3 in Atomic magazine. Question was a geeky "What date did Linus first mention his operating system on BBS?".

Feels good doesn't it. You know we're going to expect a pic of you wearing the tshirt now.

Yeah I went through a stage last year (or the year before??) where I entered every online comp I could...

Won a PS2 game (some shooting game)
    Won a "coke" t-shirt
Won a 12 pack of some bottled water
Won about 5 CD's (all crap... just entered for the fun of it)
Won double passes to two sperate premier screenings at rialto
    Won a kite
    Won a dinner voucher

Yeah... but I got bored it quickly lol

*now only enters bike related comps*

Well I got the Shirt & Cap & Sticker on Friday.

I asked for a Womens size 10 or 12 for the shirt... and they sent me a BIG shirt... so either women in Aussie are large... or they just didn't care lol

Anyway... the shirt is unwearable (unless maybe as a dress or mini-skirt dress) because its too big...

The cap is great cause its adjustable so my little head can fit in it

And the sticker joined all my other stickers (Maverick knows where they are lol)

Anyway I'll post pictures once they arrive in my inbox (from my phone)

Care to confirm where you stand on the issue of primary-school tactics?
